Trading Terms
Variation to standard specification available on all models, prices on application. V.A.T. is extra at the current rate. Please note that standard sofa-bed actions are slatted 2 fold with a 10cm sprung mattress. Contract actions are slatted 2 fold heavy duty with a 12cm sprung mattress.
Standard cushion fillings are :-
Chairs / Sofas / Footstools :- China duck feather seats/backs or Quallofil fibre
Sofabeds :- Quallofil Fibre seats / Duck feather or Quallofil backs.
No cost options are :-Qualofill Fibre / foam/fibre wrap on all and pure duck feather
Foam with either Fibre or feather jacket and duck/down will incur an extra charge. Please refer to price list or phone for quote. Please state on order if any variation to the standard is required.
Contrast piping
3 metres for any 1 or 2 pieces and 1 metre per additional piece of furniture in the same piping fabric. Because of the handmade quality to the frames and upholstery, all measurements given may vary slightly. All orders must specify whether fabric is FR, or whether a fire retardent interliner is required. Failure to specify may result in the delay of your order being processed.
Customers Own Material – All
Fabric deposited with Westcote Design is left at the customers own risk, and customer’s own insurance cover must be kept in force. Westcote Design cannot accept any liability for any damage or misadventure to their goods whilst deposited with us.
Complaints
Furniture should be examined upon delivery. Any complaints should be notified within 7 days. Westcote Design cannot accept responsibility for defects after this time. Under Westcote Design’s progressive policy, we reserve the right to amend prices and specifications without prior notice and without obligation, although we will always try to give fair notice with any amendments made .
